Which Is Right For Me?: Picking From Different Types of Mattresses

Each year, about 35.9 million mattresses are shipped out to consumers who are looking for a good night’s rest.

If you’re looking for a new mattress, you may find that you’re overwhelmed with all the different options that are out there.

Are you trying to figure out which types of mattresses would be best for you? Check out this handy guide!

Memory Foam

Memory foam is one of the more popular mattress types out there. They offer great support for your body, pressure relief for achy joints, and are perfect for contouring your body.

Some people may not want to get a memory foam bed because they are known for making you hot while you sleep. However, there are many newer memory foams out there that are designed with cooling properties in it.

If you enjoy sleeping and feeling like you’re being hugged, you should definitely look into getting a memory foam mattress. They are also great for support.

Make sure you do your research though because there are also many different kinds of memory foam.

Coils

One of the most popular types of mattresses is coiled mattresses.

The coils are innersprings in the mattress, and they are normally layered inside. These steel coils will help provide comfort and support that will help you sleep throughout the night.

While these may be one of the oldest types of mattresses, technology advancements have made sure that they’re still comfortable and supportive.

These beds are best for people who want a more traditional mattress feel. These beds will also have good cooling and bounce in them.

Most of them also have strong edge support, so make sure that you check the mattress dimensions.

Latex

A latex mattress offers a lot of comfort and cooling systems for people who tend to run hot. They are also very responsive and bouncy as well.

These are great if you don’t like some of the odors that come from memory foam mattresses.

Latex foam is harvested from a special tree, and this material makes for great, odorless mattresses.

Hybrid

A hybrid mattress is really just a combination of two different types of mattresses.

For example, you could have a mattress made of coils and latex. Or maybe from latex and memory foam.

The hybrid mattresses are designed to make sure that you have all the pros of one mattress without the cons that normally come with it.

These types of mattresses are for people who don’t mind spending a little bit extra on a mattress. They’re also for people who want to make sure they can find the best mattress for themselves.
