Indeed, purchasing a mattress is an investment but you must also consider the bed frame in your budget. Having drawers under bed is great way to store day-to-day things like shoes, clothes, bags, school supplies and even your teen’s gadgets like laptop and tablet. If you already have an existing bed frame and have a minimal budget, you can use boxes instead. Just make sure its sturdy, put a handle on it and add labels.
Another great idea to achieve minimal bedroom is having a storage in the headboard. Perfumes, beauty body essentials and books are common stuffs that your teen can put on this storage. So how it will be possible to be minimal if it will still appear or display? Cabinet style drawer can hide it or the actual storage is located at the both side of headboard. If both options are not possible with your current headboard style, you can use small folding baskets. Make sure the colors (at least two) will align to the theme you want to achieve for your teen’s bedroom so it will still look balance, clear and minimal. If the headboard is made up of wood with no foam, you can put at the top of it some picture frames or small artificial tree pot plants just to add a little accent to your teen’s bedroom.

This is a nice storage system for all of your teen’s handbags, belts and caps. I’m sure you don’t want them to place it anywhere in the bedroom. Our goal to this project is to achieve a minimal sleeping space and neat room for our teen. Also, by doing this portion, it will easily for them to get it as it was placed in one organize section.
